Not everyone finds the sound of pattering rain on the roof and facade cosy. Increasing traffic noise should also be kept outside. We have developed the ROOFINOX Acustic sound insulation film especially for this purpose - your silencer for a quiet home.
The test results are impressive: Especially in the mid-range, where the human ear is particularly sensitive, we achieve a noise reduction of minus 15 decibels with ROOFINOX Acustic.
ROOFINOX Acustic is the perfect sound absorber for sheet metal roofs, facade elements, dormers, window sills and metal covers.
ROOFINOX Acustic is also suitable for aluminium and copper, as well as stainless steel from other suppliers.
ROOFINOX Acustic - Scientifically tested and proven!
- Physical test was carried out by the accredited testing and inspection institute gbd Lab, Dornbirn
- based on standard EN ISO 10140-3 Acustic measurement of the sound insulation of components in the test stand
Test setup:
- The respective sheet metal panels were fixed firmly in place all the way round
- Activated from above with impact sound generator
- The noise transmitted downwards was measured underneath
The test results are clear:
- Attenuation of up to -15 dB in frequency
- Reduces standard impact sound by up to -7 dB
- Human ear sensitive in the mid-range => particularly good values here
- Standard impact sound attenuation according to EN ISO 10140-3 is reduced
1. at 250mm width => by -6 dB;
2. at 330 mm width => by -7 dB - Prevents fluttering noises
- Improves surface stability and thus reduces waviness
