ROOFINOX invests in Inox-Color
Inox-Color is a specialist in the technically very demanding field of mechanical, chemical and electrochemical surface finishing - in particular colouring - of stainless steel products.
We have known and valued the long-established company Inox-Color for many years.
It produces high-quality stainless steel products and has decades of experience and expertise in addition to well-qualified employees. The company is an excellent partner for us, through which we can achieve considerable synergies.
PROTON product line
By pooling our expertise and utilising our respective strengths in the field of architecture, this new constellation offers many advantages and prospects for the future. For example, the new 'PROTON' product line was developed as a joint project. Its stainless steel façades have a particularly natural and lively appearance and have aroused great interest among architects in particular.
Investments in equipment
The measures for the further technological development of Inox-Color, which began in 2021, will now be continued through the takeover. In addition, the machinery is already being systematically expanded so that customers will have an extended product range at their disposal. The management expects the new machine areas to be put into operation during the first half of 2022.
Inox-Color was able to maintain its operating business at a good level in 2021 despite coronavirus, and the outlook for 2022 is very positive. ROOFINOX's operating business increased by 30% last year, largely thanks to the current trend towards durable and sustainable construction.
The two managing directors agree: "This acquisition is a logical step to continue the expansion of the group of companies through organic growth combined with acquisitions." Inox-Color is therefore a sister company of ROOFINOX and will continue to be managed independently. ROOFINOX also has a sales office in the USA, from where the North American market is served. The group of companies is complemented by V-MET, also based in Sulz, a manufacturer of unusual metal facades, sheet metal components and machine housings.
